an insight
A common feature for break-through technologies and revolutionary multi-billion dollar businesses seems to be the idea that they occur in convenient timing with specific technology push; the advent of Google was precipitated from the dry, deserted lands of the multiverse, but fast-growing internet, the growth in Nvidia (2 times!) during the blockchain mining-based adoption and advanced multi chain reasoning of artificial intelligence from OpenAI, and low latency, high bandwidth data allowed a multiplex of software services; the real internet explosion: Uber, Napster, Facebook, Youtube, and Telegram etc.
However, there are some is a category that is somewhat, a little harder to explain for the origins of their monumental success — incredible people who envision a very conclusive idea of the future, something somewhat only the individual has very deep and broad theories about.
Before you get lost, let me explain with an example.

If I told you that some colour-blind 19 year-old college student that built a networking service, 7 years after the first one, and 50+ were already attempted, and had 0 experience in the domain, would go on to become Facebook, wouldn't you ask how he did it?
- Other people had already tried and somewhat had market dominance (SixDegrees), Friendster, Myspace etc
- He was far from the inventor of the idea of social networking (7 years since creation)
- He had no track record for this domain. (some could argue the music sharing app, but not the same market).
- No technical cofounders that conveyed the product architecture in the early stages.
Yet, he was able to create a product that was so much better than the previous ones, and had a very clear vision of what the future of social networking would be.
I think it would be really useful if I knew the answer.
